The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs conducts international, overseas, educational and cultural exchange programs for international professionals (in multiple stages in their careers, in many fields of interest), as well as diverse programs for foreign high school students, undergraduate students, graduate students, and professors in numerous subjects, as well as overseas community leaders and representatives from non-governmental organizations.
The incumbent serves as a Social Science Analyst in the field of international, program evaluation and performance measurement and contributes toward the Evaluation Division's efforts to determine the effectiveness of ECA's multiple and highly varied international exchange programs, for the Department of State senior managers, Congress, other U.S. government agencies, and the foreign policy community as a whole.
