Duke Research on Research Group

Edit resource

This group (and site) provided information on research coaching, process coordination for research networks, and intellectual property issues. The group provided consultation services and the site included training modules on different elements of research practice. The Research on Research (RoR) group, based at the Duke University Medical Center (http://medschool.duke.edu/) is an academic group focused on the study and implementation of practices leading to the improvement in processes associated with conducting biomedical research. Ultimately, the modifications implemented into these processes is expected to improve the quality, productivity and cost in conducting biomedical research. As an academic group, the mission of Research on Research involves both the scientific investigation of factors affecting research processes as well as the long-term sustainability of its operations. We will refer to these as the research and operational missions, respectively
