Team Science Training, Stanford Medicine Office of FacultyDevelopment and Diversity
In today's biomedical world, collaboration across disparatescientific fields among multi-investigator teams is required in order to solvethe most complex medical problems.
The Office of Faculty Development and Diversity's all-day "Leading TeamScience Teams" training provides guidance on the characteristics,processes, and dynamics that contribute to a multidisciplinary team's success,while engaging researchers to learn more about how team science should beinitiated, conducted, and evaluated.
Participants learn to develop strategies to prevent, reduce, and mitigateconflict among researchers in a Team Science. Participants also gain anunderstanding of how Team Science accomplishments are used in the A&Pprocess.
