On January 11, 2013, the National Research Council (NRC) of the National Academies hosted a Planning Meeting on the Science of Team Science. This meeting kicked off a process to develop a consensus study on Team Science.
The archived webcast is now available at http://tvworldwide.com/events/nas/130111/default.cfm. This link includes video of each session; downloadable files for all PowerPoints; and the Speaker Bios, Statement of Task, and Team Science Toolkit handouts that were distributed in hard copy at the event.
The large and active audience provided many helpful questions, comments, and suggestions for the NRC study that will soon begin. Over 85 individuals attended in person, and more than 130 connected to the live webcast. Approximately 53% of participants identified themselves as coming from academia, 31% from government, 2% from industry, and 14% as “other.”
