Grid-Enabled Measures (GEM)

Edit resource

Grid-Enabled Measures (GEM) was developed by the National Cancer Institute and is a web portal—mounted on a grid cyberinfrastructure –with two overarching aims: 1) Promote the use of shared measures which are tied to theoretically-based constructs; and 2) Facilitate the ability to share harmonized data resulting from the use of the shared measures. These goals are achieved by creating a virtual community of researchers who interact with each other through GEM using web 2.0 capabilities. *** URL: https://www.gem-beta.org/ ***
